Despite recent law suit noise and commentary, the Guitar Hero craze continues to spread.
In my house we own Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III, Guitar Hero Rock the 80s across the Sony Playstation 2 and Nintendo Wii and we are eagerly awaiting the Aerosmith game to be released. Its a fun game, the music is great, and the newer versions have incorporated better and better 2 player modes like battle and faceoff, as well as online multi player capabilities. Other versions of Guitar Hero have already been released for computers, both Mac and PCs.
…we don’t stop playing because we get old;
we get old because we stop playing.
Now we’re talking - I have to get myself one of these! Here’s the coolest toy yet. A full size, fully functional remote control Hummer H3.
Engineer Dr. James Brighton, of Cranfield Universit, built this monstrosity. The project took about one month, using a robotic system for the steering, breaks, throttle and gears. In the back, there are actuators and controllers, which respond to a Futaba unit.
The car handles and responds just like it would if you were sitting behind the wheel, and to a seasoned RC operator this can be A LOT of fun.
You won’t find this at your local hobby shop, that’s for sure!
Here are some pictures and videos this amazing remote controlled car:

This dragon illusion is similar, but in my opinion it packs a more powerful effect because of the eyes that follow you.
If you’d like to create your own version, right click here, select Save As… and you’ll download the ‘blue print’ for the dragon. Print it at home, on cardstock if you can, or else you can glue it onto thicker material. Cut it out, follow the folding and gluing instructions and volia! Have fun!
The graphic is big, so the bigger you can print the better!
Here’s the video of the Dragon Illusion.
Enjoy and be sure to check out the rest of the series:
While growing up, The Muppet Show was one of the regular TV programs my family and I watched. There’s yet to be a show as entertaining and funny on TV! The creator, Jim Henson, really hit gold with a show that’s fun for audiences of all ages and nationalities.
This clip is by far my favorite of all! It brings a smile to my face every time I see it, and I can watch over and over again! Don’t you just love it? WARNING - After watching it you’ll sing this all day!
Presented by Kermit the frog, himself. Manha Manha! Whatever that means!?!?!
