Great Photos – Summer Snack For A Polar Bear

I sure love eating cold watermelon on a hot summer day! So why can’t a Polar Bear enjoy the same treat?

These photos I found show how a Polar Bear makes quick work of a whole watermelon. Nothing but the peel and rinds are left behind.

  1. Great photos. I’ve included 1 on my site Are You Polar Bear Aware? (http://www.squidoo.com/polarbearaware) with a link back here so others can enjoy your great photos.

    Bear hugs, Frankster

  2. Thank you Frankie! Seeing that the content of my blog is published on a site that promotes awareness and preservation of wildlife is very rewarding.

I wish I could take credit for these great photos, but in fact, I found them on the web browsing through a number of sites I frequently visit for ideas and material.

In any case, thanks so much for stopping by and best regards!

    Itay.

  3. A polar bear…eating a watermelon!? Now I’ve seen everything! I guess eating baby seals gets old after a while, eh? ;-) Great post.
