With iPods pretty much everywhere you turn, CD sales are plummeting lower and lower. There used to be a day when people would pride themselves in the size of their CD collection. Back in the day, vinyls were king, but I think the CD jewel cases had more of a presence. Now we all have white earbuds and thousands of MP3s.

The covers, booklets and even CDs themselves were sometimes very original and artistic. Here’s a collection of very creative CD designs, that take the hole of the CD and incorporate into the design.
