My long awaited aquarium is finally here! I just finished unloading the aquarium, stand, canopy and a few of the components (dart & mag drive pumps, sump, and aqualight pro).

While the stand isn’t exactly what I had hoped for (it turns out its a funky wavy design) it will do the trick.

Here are a few photos of the gear. EXCITED TO GET STARTED ON THE BUILD!!

The Coralife Aqualight Pro is meant to be excellent for coral and fish. It has 3 Metal Halide bulbs, 4 actinic fluorescent tubes, and 4 moonlight LEDs.

The sump is probably the size of the biggest aquarium I owned prior to this monster project

The Mag Drive pump moves approx 1000 gallons per hour and will sit in the sump to circulate the water through the overflows in the tank

The Reeflo DART pump will be the heart of the water movement in the tank. Its predrilled and will also have an Oceans Motions unit to create surges and currents. This pump moves an impressive 3600 gallons per hour

This shot of the tank shows the custom drilled holes (4 in the back, 4 in the front) for the closed loop water circulation system, as well as the 4 holes (2 in each of the cornerflos) for the sump and protein skimmer.
