Cat Owners – Close Your Bathroom Doors!
Our cats love to bite and unroll paper towels and toilet paper. In an effort to contain the shredding my wife and I have trained ourselves to shut the doors to all the bathrooms around the house.
We take a larger risk with the paper towel holder on the kitchen counter, and with spring/summer being here, the cats are much more distracted with the birds, squirrels and chipmunks and seem to spare the paper (for now).
It seems, however, that some cats – clever as they are – have turned flushing the toilet into a very entertaining pastime. As captivating and fascinating as this seems, it ended up explaining why Jim & Jennifer were getting water bills in excess of $300! This video captures the culprit in the act!
