3D Pavement Drawings

For years Julian Beever has created amazing street art. These “anamorphic illusions” are drawn at a special distortion that results in the 3D effect when seen from a specific distance and angle. The results are quite amazing.
When seen from the “wrong angle”, the true dimensions and distortion is clearly visible.

Not that I do, but the truth is that after migrating my wordpress.com blog to my own hosted version of Word Press, I have a renewed respect and appreciation for how easy and friendly things have gotten on the web. And hats of to Word Press as well for making this possible.
The instructions on how [...]

E-Mail in 3D

Ok ok… maybe not quite, but I do find it funny that now I get a three way notification of incoming e-mails.
First, my Blackberry vibrates on my waist, that’s ‘Touch’
Second, Outlook pops up the ‘incoming message’ alert, that’s ‘Sight’
And third, with my new Logitech MX 5500 keyboard I get the beeping notification, that’s ‘Hearing’.
All within [...]
